Who am I?

Hi! My name is Lina Jin and I am 16 years old. I have lived in Georgia for the past 12 years, before I lived in Barrie, ON - near Toronto.

What are my passions?

I love trying new things, so during quarantine, I've been trying to open myself to new things. Recently, I've been baking, crocheting, drawing, painting, running, and journaling. I really love art, so I think when I'm older I want to open a cute little cafe art shop :).

Here is the link to one of my pieces exhibited in this year's High Museum's GAEA Virtual Exhibition! You have to scroll for a sec (you can Ctrl + F), but alot of the pieces are really cool! My favorite part of art is the diveristy involved in it.

My family is from Korea, so I love learning about my culture, especially since I live somewhere with a living style so different from over there. In the future, I want to travel all over the world to learn about the cultures from everywhere. Peru, Spain, Italy....

I also love nature, the natural beauty that our world brings to us is so facsinating to me. I feel strongly about fighting for its preservation and reducing the emission of greenhouse gases in our world.

My Dreams

In the future, I hope to make the world a better place for everyone. I hope that through coding, I can learn a new and different way to make that happen.
